Salaba joined Businessolver as Vice President of Business Excellence and leads two divisions – Process Excellence and Engagement.</p>
<p>Salaba joined Businessolver after almost 25 years at Principal Financial Group in a variety of roles focused on IT and operational excellence. “We understand the work and focus it takes to deliver delight to our clients,” said Businessolver president and CEO Jon Shanahan. “Liz has a wealth of experience in everything from project management to quality assurance within an IT framework, and that experience will be invaluable to our clients.”</p>
<p>Businessolver’s culture and commitment to operational excellence were a perfect fit for Salaba. “The entire organization is focused on continuous learning, innovation, process performance and engagement,” said Salaba. “I’m excited to have an experienced team that will help drive those strategies.”</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Around 50 Solvers recently spent the end of an afternoon locked in a Field Day battle that ended with a local charity as the winner. Pairs of Businessolver team members tossed everything from beanbags to frisbees trying to win the Field Day prize. The newest event, Water Wars, featured two gigantic water balloon sling shots and was a huge success, providing laughter and mis-targeted drenchings of many team members. Participating teams were auctioned off again this year, providing opportunity for friendly wagering, trash talk and bringing out the competitive edge in many participants. In the end, the event raised around $500 for Make-A-Wish Foundation of Iowa. Congrats to our winners, and thanks to all of the teams for supporting a great cause.</p>

She comes to Businessolver with nearly 18 years of HR outsourcing and project management experience, most recently at Hollstadt and Associates in Minneapolis. Previously she held positions at SHPS, Lighthouse1 and Boston Scientific.</p>
<p>“Jill’s extensive experience in operational management, especially in the areas of client, vendor and team management, make her a great fit for Businessolver,” said <a title="Businessolver Leadership" href="http://www.businessolver.com/about/our_leaders.htm" target="_blank">Vice President of Client Services Brooke Knight</a>. She will lead a cross-functional Client Centric Team.</p>
<p>Jill spent nearly 14 years with HR technology vendor SHPS in roles varying from Director of Operations to Director of Carrier Operations. While at SHPS, Potthoff increased financial deliverables on time from 93 to 97 percent and vendor on time deliverables from 96 to 99 percent.</p>
<p>She holds a BA in Business Administration/Marketing from Iowa State University and is a member of Project Management Institute (PMI).</p>

He comes to Businessolver from ADP where he was a client service unit manager. He has also worked for Iowa Telecom in Newton and MCI Worldcom in Cedar Rapids. He is a graduate of William Penn University.</p>
<p>While at ADP, Pasker directly led a team of 31 in a 65% reduction of open issues over a year’s time, and a 200% increase in client satisfaction.</p>
<p>“Ben’s extensive experience in client-facing team management, utilizing proven process management techniques, will serve him well in his new role,” said <a title="Businessolver Leadership" href="http://www.businessolver.com/about/our_leaders.htm" target="_blank">Brooke Knight, Vice President of Client Services</a>. He will lead a cross-functional Client Centric Team.</p>

Cheryl was most recently Senior Account Manager at Principal Financial Group managing large client relationships as well as relationships with carriers and brokers. Cheryl has also been employed by Marsh, CIGNA and Coventry Health Care.</p>
<p>“It’s been a fantastic whirlwind of activity in my first three months at Businessolver,” Wiese said. “I&#8217;ve been cutting my teeth on a wonderfully complex association client that has given me the opportunity to learn so much about our system in such a short amount of time. I&#8217;m also working to deepen existing relationships with our East Coast and Chicago broker partners.”</p>
<p>“Cheryl’s significant experience in the insurance industry, particularly with large market accounts while at Principal Financial Group, will position her for success in her new role,” said <a title="Businessolver Leadership" href="http://www.businessolver.com/about/our_leaders.htm" target="_blank">Brooke Knight, Vice President of Client Services</a>.</p>
<p>It’s her work with large and complex groups that makes Wiese a good fit in her role, a position recently established at Businessolver. “We continue to win in the market and acquire large accounts that require in-depth benefits experience and heightened focus on strategy,” said Knight. “The National Accounts Executive role is well positioned to drive strategic account management and continue to drive our principles and tenets of client delight.”</p>
<p>“Coming to Businessolver has been a great experience for me,” Wiese said. “I&#8217;ve been reunited with some great old friends and made many more new ones.  The culture of this company is like no other. Businessolver knows the importance of client happiness, and we believe that client delight starts with employee delight. We know that when employees are happy, they go out of their way to please their clients.</p>
<p>One way Businessolver helps keep employees happy is through our concierge program. Much like a concierge at a hotel, Businessolver aims to provide five-star service to our employees, clients and potential clients.</p>
<p><strong>Client Delight</strong></p>
<p>Erica Adams runs Businessolver’s concierge program and is committed to client delight.  The concierge services provided by Businessolver ensure that our guests have an enjoyable and productive visit.</p>
<p>This means that travel plans are arranged, meeting preparations are complete, and a smiling face is there to greet visitors at the airport.  “We want to go above and beyond the normal eight to five,” said Adams. Before a visit, Erica checks to see if there’s anything we can do to make their stay more enjoyable.  Whether it be arranging lunches or providing ideas for things to do in Des Moines, Erica makes sure visitors feel at home.</p>
<p>A great example of Erica’s commitment occurred during a recent client visit.  A broken shoe resulted in an uncomfortable situation for one visitor. Rather than going shoeless the rest of her trip, she was rescued by Erica, who brought her a new pair of shoes.</p>
<p><strong>Employee Delight</strong></p>
<p>But Erica’s commitment doesn’t stop there; she knows that employees today wear many hats, and schedules can be demanding both at work and at home. Businessolver created a concierge program to “help employees live the Businessolver values to the fullest,” said Adams.</p>
<p>Many of the concierge services that Businessolver provides allow employees to spend more time focused on our business and our clients. If an employee is worried about everything they need to get done outside of work, they may not be fully engaged in best serving our clients. That’s why Erica arranges a variety services for employees, from dry cleaning pick-up to on-site haircuts to travel accommodations. Erica also coordinates a number of fun activities throughout the year to reward employees for their hard work.</p>
<p>“A lot is expected of employees at Businessolver, we all work very hard. The concierge services are just another way that Businessolver keeps employees engaged and provides a fun work environment,” said Adams.</p>
<p>So what does a typical day look like?</p>

<li>Drive to the airport and pick up a client. Smile! Give a brief introduction to Des Moines on your way to the office.</li>

<li>Go to Casey’s and get breakfast pizza for an employee anniversary.</li>
