Having Fun While Giving Back

Businessolver makes giving back to the community fun.  Generally, organizations that make it a priority to involve its employees in community outreach initiatives have happier, more productive employees with increased levels of job satisfaction.   So it’s no surprise that Businessolver employees are happy, proactive and satisfied!

In the month of June, Businessolver raised money for three local organizations.

A Penny Saved is a Penny Earned

Businessolver played a competitive game of Penny Wars during the week of June 14-18 to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House.  The “giving back” aspect of the effort is obvious, but the “fun” aspect was the opportunity to throw a pie into the face of our favorite director.  Together we raised close to $600 for the Ronald McDonald House.

Light the Night for Sight

A team of 9 Businessolver employees burned some calories for a cause as they walked to raise money for blindness and eye safety awareness on June 17th.  Funds raised by the Businessolver team for the “Light the Night for Sight” walk went to Prevent Blindness Iowa.

Can4aCause

This month we started a new partnership with Cans4aCause, an organization that collects soda and beer cans from organizations and gives the deposits to local charities.  Businessolver has decided to send all of our proceeds to the Susan G. Koman Foundation.  It makes us feel much better about all of the pop we drink!

At Businessolver, we work hard.  We play hard.  And we want you to know more about what we do and who we are.  Check out photos and updates of community events on Twitter and Facebook!
