Interviewer: John What are your responsibilities within Businessolver?

John Thompson: Prospecting, prospecting and more prospecting! It is my job to create awareness of Businessolver in the marketplace in order to drive interest, opportunity and ultimately good business for the company in the Eastern United States.

Interviewer:  What do you like most about being a Businessolver team member?

JT: Knowing I am backed by a strong company and an excellent suite of solutions. I truly believe that our company, our products and our people are simply the best in the industry! As a salesperson, truly believing can be a very motivating and powerful thing!

Interviewer: How does your role benefit Businessolver’s customers?

JT: I have a pretty broad perspective of the market having worked for other firms that attempt to do what Businessolver does. That perspective helps to differentiate unique benefits of Businessolver such as the flexibility of the Benefitsolver Enrollment and Eligibility Platform. That flexibility translates into lower costs and a greater return for our clients with no change order management fees!

Interviewer: John, what makes your job most interesting to you?

JT: Interacting with and forming business relationships with diverse and dynamic employers, insurance brokers and employee benefits consultants.

Interviewer:  What’s the one thing about Businessolver that people may not realize?

JT: The fact that we are headquartered in Des Moines is a selling point for us. Des Moines is a hub for the insurance industry, and it boasts a highly educated workforce and Midwestern values. Having access to top talent allows Businessolver to continue adding to our team as we establish new and build existing relationships with our clients!

Interviewer: In your experience with Businessolver, what’s your favorite customer story?

JT:It is not one customer story, but a more of a common theme. Many insurance brokers and employee benefits consultants, who have a lot of experience working with firms like Businessolver, are amazed when first introduced to our Benefitsolver Platform. They are impressed by the level of sophistication of our technology and surprised by the number and types of clients we support.
