A New Level of Excellence – Businessolver Receives Baldrige Gold Recognition
Posted on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 by Leah Moyer

We began the Baldrige journey four years ago to help us strive, streamline and hold our process and technology to a higher industry standard.

We’ve learned so much along the way. By committing year over year to operations excellence, improving processes and acting on constructive feedback, we were able to achieve Gold Level recognition in the Baldrige Performance Excellent Program in 2019.

Businessolver will be presented the award by Iowa Recognition for Performance Excellence (IRPE) in May 2020. We are proud to say that this year, we were the only Gold recipient in the state of Iowa as well as the only benefits administration technology organization to participate in the Baldrige journey.

Gold is a new standard.

The Baldrige commitment to excellence requires organizations to adhere to the Baldrige Framework Criteria, a rigorous collection of processes and improvements to truly test an organization’s foundation.

The Gold award is the highest level an organization can achieve, illustrating how Businessolver’s strength in process, outstanding internal practices and core values are above and beyond industry standards.

Businessolver doesn’t just say, we do.

With a renewed sense of focus and some amazing lessons learned, our hearts were set on Gold in 2019. Here’s what set us apart:

  • Visionary Leadership. With a dedication to the Businessolver Way, senior leadership fosters a culture dedicated to high performance, quality, transparency and, above all, client delight.
  • Customer-focused excellence. Client delight is woven into every fabric of our business. By collecting timely feedback and implementing actions, we open the avenues of communication for better, more agile technology improvements and processes.
  • People first. Maintaining a strong workplace culture that employees enjoy, trust and are given opportunities to grow and succeed is key to continued momentum and overall excellence.
  • Managing for innovation. By continuing to advance our products and services with empathetic design, we can continue to push the envelope in our industry.

“To reach Gold level after our fourth consecutive year of investing in this framework is a great achievement, and we are extremely proud of our entire organization for their commitment to operational excellence,” says Rae Shanahan, Businessolver’s Chief Strategy Officer. “To truly deliver client delight, our teams, products, services, and culture must deliver on the highest standards of excellence, and we’re honored to be recognized for this accomplishment by the Baldrige program.”
