When we were crafting the new Benefits Pulse podcast, our team asked ourselves, “How can we provide our invaluable industry knowledge and vast HR technology experience in the best way possible?”
And that’s how we arrived at the Benefits Pulse vodcast. The purpose of this new vodcast is so viewers and listeners can keep a beat on trends, insights and more around health, benefits, and everything related to technology for HR.
Yes, that’s vodcast with a “V.” The Benefits Pulse vodcast is an audio- and video-based discussion series. We’re taking what we consider to be the best parts of webinars and the best parts of podcasts and combining them into the Benefits Pulse. You can find us on YouTube, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify.
Benefits Pulse viewers and listeners can expect to hear from several HR and tech experts about the latest in wellness, the future of work, HR technology, AI, empathy, compliance, and a variety of other topics that affect the workplace.
We’re looking forward to sharing an incredible lineup of industry experts as we kick off the new year. The first few episodes that have dropped include topics like HR mental health in the workplace, compliance, and compassionate competence. Here’s a sneak peek:
In our first episode, we talk about mental health. Megan Delp, Director of Workplace Mental Health at the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) discusses the current landscape of HR’s mental health with Sarah Warren, Sr. Benefits Manager at Businessolver. The episode covers proven strategies and tools HR professionals can use to support their wellbeing, at work and beyond.
In episode two, Ben Conley, Partner at Seyfarth Shaw LLP meets with Bruce Gillis, Head of Compliance at Businessolver to take a look at the top issues HR must keep an eye on going into 2024. Though it is not direct legal advice, you will not want to miss it to catch key details happening in compliance you may need to consider in your organization.
The third episode is about empathy. Rae Shanahan, Chief Strategy Officer at Businessolver, and Jeffrey Becker, Senior Member Advocate also from Businessolver, discuss what compassionate competence is, and the importance of it in any organization.
And if your curiosity is piqued, you’ll have to listen to, or watch these episodes (sorry, not sorry for teasing).
