Make-A-Wish Illinois Gala – A Magical Event
This past weekend was the 30th annual Make-A-Wish Illinois Wish Ball, held at Navy Pier in Chicago. Businessolver has long been a Make-A-Wish sponsor and supporter, having granted a child’s wish in 2013. Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. It was a magical evening, and one that Businessolver was honored to be a leading sponsor of!
Jillian Welp, Businessolver Client Relationship Manager was in attendance and able to witness the importance of granting wishes for children firsthand:
“There’s something truly magical about what Make-A-Wish does, making wishes come true for deserving children and families. At the Wish Ball, we were able to fully grasp the impact that these wishes have by hearing firsthand stories from the wish recipients. It was inspiring to hear how cherished their memories are and how the wish played such a significant role in their health and development. This sentiment came full circle near the end of the event, when over 30 ‘wish alums’, ranging in age and background, filled the stage and it was at that moment we could appreciate that we were a part of something very special.”
