Successful Q2: Helping Turn Type 1 into Type None

Businessolver and its employees recently wrapped up Q2 and support efforts for JDRF – an organization shedding light and doing research on Type 1 Diabetes. Businessolver employees in both Denver and Des Moines planned fun events such as a homerun derby, lunch and learns, tie dyeing and a Cinco de Mayo celebration that benefited the organization.

Solvers also shared their personal stories of living with T1D and encouraged others to participate in the annual Des Moines One Walk. The company had almost 50 walkers/runners taking part in the event held at the Iowa State Fairgrounds. By the end of the quarter, Businessolver employees helped raise over $4,000 for JDRF!

It’s safe to say that everyone had a great time with the engaging events that took place and that they learned something about T1D, a disease that affects 1. 25 million people, primarily adults. Thanks to everyone who helped make the quarter fantastic. We hope our work has inspired others to learn more about JDRF, T1D, and the world around them.
