WEST DES MOINES, IOWA (Sept. 16, 2021)— Businessolver®, a leader in SaaS-based benefits technology and services, announced today its participation in the 2021 Govtech Accelerator Program. After an intensive vetting and selection process, the company is one of just 13 organizations chosen by CivStart to join the program, focused on providing local governments with affordable and innovative solutions to their biggest challenges.
“Although this moment in time is placing unprecedented pressure on employers of all types, there’s no denying that public-sector organizations are facing the unique challenge of controlling costs while maintaining services levels for their employees and constituents,” said Jon Shanahan, Businessolver CEO and President. “With our Govsolver platform, we are thrilled to partner with Civstart and other govtech organizations to help public sector employers drive a better, more personalized benefits experience for their employees.”
This latest cohort of 13 organizations joins an existing 24 other govtech leaders in the CivStart Accelerator portfolio. Businessolver and its cohort peers will work with CivStart leaders to guide and accelerate the adoption of cutting-edge technology solutions at the local level by connecting governments, startup companies, and corporate partners to steward good ideas and address the needs of local communities through a technology-focused lens.
