2nd Annual Inspiring Women of Iowa Event Names Women of Courage, Confidence and Character

West Des Moines, IA, (May 9) – Businessolver, a leader in SaaS-based benefits administration technology, announced today that Rae Shanahan, Chief Strategy Officer is a finalist for the Second Annual Inspiring Women of Iowa Award. Sponsored by Aureon, this event celebrates 12 women from Iowa who have exhibited courage, confidence and character — three ideals very closely tied to Girl Scouts — in their personal and professional lives.

Shanahan was nominated by Marcy Klipfel, Senior Vice President for Employee Engagement at Businessolver. Klipfel shared, “Rae is the definition of a trailblazer. She’s a pioneer, an innovator and a lifelong learner. She has left an amazing path for women leaders to follow. Rae truly builds a better world for others.”

Inspiring Women of Iowa is an annual event celebrating inspiring and influential women in the community, with proceeds benefiting Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa, which plays a major role in transforming girls into G.I.R.L.s (Go-getters, Innovators, Risk-Takers, Leaders)™.

“I am thrilled and humbled to be included in this group of 12 incredible women making a difference in the world. I could never have accomplished what I have without my rock-solid support system and I’m so happy to in turn be a support for our future women leaders,” Shanahan said.
