Mobile app and blog series receive top awards for driving engagement and thought leadership
WEST DES MOINES, IOWA (December 8, 2020) — Businessolver®, a leader in SaaS-based benefits technology and services, was recognized for two communications resources in the semi-annual Digital Health Awards, announced on November 20—the MyChoice® Mobile App and their “New Normal” blog series, which included resources for managing and sustaining organizational and individual health during this year’s COVID-19 pandemic.
The MyChoice Mobile App was awarded a gold in the Mobile Digital Health Resources: Mobile Application category. The MyChoice Mobile App was created as both an informative and interactive resource for employees to access all of their key benefits details. Employees can enroll in, interact with and manage their benefits journey year-round with the easy-to-access app. The app provides notifications to prevent missed benefits deadlines and allows employees to upload documentation directly into the app. Additionally, it features their virtual benefits assistant Sofia, an intelligent application who answers member questions in real time.
“We are very proud to receive this honor for the MyChoice Mobile App,” said Rae Shanahan, Chief Strategy Officer for Businessolver and Chief Executive Officer for Innovation Works, the Businessolver business unit dedicated to cutting-edge and innovative designs and development. “We’ve put great effort in creating a science-backed user experience and continue to add new, thoughtful functionality to increase the utility of the app. At the end of the day, we strive to provide a valuable tool for our members—especially in a year when access to benefits information and the ability to manage that away from a traditional office setting has never been more important.”
Additionally, Businessolver won gold in the Digital Health Media / Publications: Blog Post Series for the “New Normal” – a series of articles and videos to help HR professionals navigate through COVID-related decisions. The series includes information on managing a remote workforce, maintaining organizational culture, shifting benefits trends and staying healthy and active through the various stages of the pandemic.
“The entire Businessolver team came together to pivot and focus on messaging that HR leaders needed, whether it was practical tips about data security while working remotely or making sure that workforce leaders were aware of mental health resources,” said Bridget Mortland, Head of Marketing and Product Solutions. “We wanted our audience to know that we understand what they are facing and are here to support them, not only with stand-out benefits technology, but with real-world resources.”
