Businessolver Foundation continues our annual scholarship program to support Solvers and their dependents’ education and career aspirations.

One of the Businessolver Foundation’s pillars of giving is STEM and Career Education. We are proud to support non-profits working in this space and we’re equally excited to encourage our employees’ dependents through our Businessolver Foundation Scholarship Program.

Each year, employees’ dependents are encouraged to apply for the program which provides $2,000 per semester to support them through their time at college, university, trade school or other higher education opportunities. Since its inception in 2018, over a hundred children of our employees have taken advantage of this opportunity, totaling donations of nearly $205,000 a year.

“The Businessolver scholarship program provided me with financial support which helped me avoid the struggles of college debt,” said Carter Moseley, a 2023 scholarship recipient. “On top of that, it provided opportunities to meet with business professionals and learn skills such as resume writing and interviewing which helped me succeed in starting my after-college career. I am extremely grateful to Businessolver for all the support they have provided.”

The application process is simple and close to our mission at the Businessolver Foundation. We ask that students maintain a specific grade point average and/or conduct a community service project each semester. In turn, we provide funding towards their education and mentorship support. Two times a year, students are invited to participate in mentoring seminars led by various Businessolver employees. Sessions have included how to network, resume writing, time management and post-education employment strategies.

“The Businessolver Foundation Scholarship continues to have a huge impact on our family,” said Jeremy Nash, Learning and Development Consultant for Businessolver. “Our oldest child was a 4-year recipient, and it helped him graduate college debt free. Our middle child is a freshman in college this year and is a recipient, and our youngest will be applying for it next year. It eases the financial burden of college for our kids, so they can focus more on their studies. The foundation truly demonstrates an investment in Businessolver employees (and our families) beyond the 9-5 workday and “our jobs” for the business.”

The Businessolver Foundation is proud to offer this scholarship program to dependents of our employees and will continue to welcome them into our “Solver Family.”  We feel this helps us accomplish our mission of creating a positive impact on the lives of our employees, clients, and communities through philanthropic efforts focused on DEIB, mental health, and STEM.
