Driving Better Health Outcomes with AI and Empathy

85% of employees are confused about their benefits, a trend that’s held as steady as rising healthcare costs. While employees will never be benefits experts, building understanding and engagement through empathetic strategies is key to driving positive outcomes for total wellbeing. Since 2017, Businessolver has used AI to help drive positive wellbeing outcomes and improved employee experiences.

Employees view benefits as a core aspect of empathy—especially those that support their mental health and need for flexibility. But Businessolver’s latest State of Workplace Empathy data shows a concerning empathy gap: Even when employees’ top-wanted benefits are available, there’s a distinct lack of awareness, resulting in a 20-point gap between benefits that are available (and highly desired) and those benefits being used.
